By the spring of 2007 we had hired a Project Manager and two experienced furniture Account Executives that were uniquely passionate about creating amazing office environments. In her spare time, she is the York High School Girls Volleyball coach and is involved in growing the sport in the community.

Ryan joined the Exterus team in 2021. He has a strong background in the commercial interiors and residential interiors world, with knowledge of kitchen & bathroom design, flooring, and furniture. Ryan prides himself on building strong relationships, and exceeding client expectations. Born and raised in Vermont, Ryan is an avid outdoorsman. When he’s not working you can find him fishing somewhere on Lake Champlain or in one of Vermont’s trout streams.
Mr. Allen began his office furniture career selling pre-owned office furniture. 24 years later, he is still in the office furnishings industry, specializing in ergonomics in the workplace.
Craig started in the commercial interiors industry in 1986 and brings 32 years of experience to the business . Craig has worked closely with many companies throughout New England over the years to provide Project Management, Installation and Move Services and well as providing sales and service on office furniture and integrated interiors pieces such as Floor Coverings , Demountable walls , Sound Masking , High Density Mobile filing.
Mrs. Barnes has over 20 years of professional purchasing and project management experience. Her skill set ensures all aspects of your project are executed accurately to the smallest detail
Ms. Adams is a native Vermonter and has been in the office products / furniture industry in souther Vermont for more than 15 years. Her strong relationships with customers and responsiveness have endured many industry changes. Ms. Adams focus is on health care customers and new business development.
Erin joined Exterus in the spring of 2013. She brings with her 16+ years of experience in the contract furniture industry. She has worked on the dealer side in Design & Project Management roles, as well as the client side in a Facilities position. Erin has successfully passed all three parts of the NCIDQ exam- a rigorous exam for Interior Design professionals.Erin lives in New Hampshire with her husband Steve and their two young sons- Ethan & Garrett.
Laurie has enjoyed 25 years of experience in the contract furniture industry, helping customers select the best products, fabrics, finishes and design to create a great work environment. She appreciates her many long-term relationships with a focus on clients in NH, VT and select accounts in Maine. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics. Laurie lives in Dover NH with her husband, Greg, and values time with their children, Kevin, Kelsey and Angela.Outside of work she enjoys kayaking and outdoor activities, and is a board member and volunteer for the Southeast Land Trust of NH.
Susan joined our company in 2015 bringing over 20 years experience in marketing and finance. She is responsible for the daily financial operations of officeworks New England overseeing accounts payable management, sales tax reporting, monitoring cash flow, payroll and preparation of financial statements.After growing up in the Midwest and graduating from the University of Minnesota, Susan spent time traveling before settling down on the seacoast. She now resides in York, Maine with her husband and children. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, running, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Nicole joined our team in 2018, bringing 13 years of sales experience and a strong foundation in the commercial interiors world with knowledge in both the flooring and furniture industries.Known for her positive energy, creativity and productivity, Nicole prides herself on building strong relationships, and exceeding client expectations.Born and raised in Arizona, she came East to earn her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, and has since come to love New England. In her free time, Nicole enjoys adventuring with her husband and two children.
Brian has over twenty years of experience in Marketing, Sales and Project Management in the contract furniture industry in the Maine marketplace, with a specialty in the Higher Education, Finance, and Public sectors. As a Sales Executive for the new Portland Office, he has a B.S in Business Administration from Husson College and a State of Maine Guide License for multiday whitewater river trips throughout the state. Brian currently resides in North Yarmouth with his wife Andrea and two boys, Anson and Varick. His hobbies include whitewater sports, mountain biking, hiking and skiing.
With over 20 years’ experience in installation , design, project management and sales Matt has seen the evolution of the office environment and takes pride in understanding current trends. Matt looks for What is Next to help clients attain better efficiency and productivity. He enjoy building relationships and working with others to create innovate efficient solution, while embracing that there is always more to learn about the world and himself. Matt lives for the outdoor activities and all that northern New England has to offer. He is a proud father of 2 amazing boys.

With over 35 years in the contract furniture industry, Laurie is all about helping clients create workspaces that are not only functional but also vibrant and inspiring. Whether it’s selecting the right products, fabrics, finishes, or designs, she loves bringing together the perfect elements to boost productivity and create environments people love. Over the years, Laurie has built strong, lasting relationships with clients all over New Hampshire, New England, and even some national accounts—always with a focus on personalized service and finding just the right solutions. Laurie earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics (now the Paul School at UNH) and is proud to call Dover, NH, home. She shares her life with her husband, Greg, and loves spending time with their adult children, Kevin and Kelsey, and delightful grandson, Julius. Outside of work, Laurie can be found kayaking, hiking, gardening, or just enjoying the great outdoors. She’s passionate about giving back to her community and volunteers as a board member for both the Southeast Land Trust of NH (SELT) and the Merry meeting Lake Association, helping conserve the region’s natural beauty for future generations.

Daniel joined the Exterus team in late September 2022 with over 8 years of sales experience, and 5 years of experience within the contract furniture industry serving clients throughout New England. With expertise in all verticals, Daniel enjoys supporting Corporate, Biotechnology, and Healthcare environments. Daniel welcomes the challenges unique to each industry setting, focusing on supportive designs to help businesses and employees thrive. A Plymouth State University graduate, Daniel resides in Manchester NH with his Chocolate Labrador, Louise. On weekends, Daniel enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, electric guitar, and spending time with family on Cape Cod.
Carolyn joined the team in 2023. A relationship manager for over 25 years, she brings extensive experience in making sure clients are always delighted! She chose to live in Vermont in 1991 after growing up in New York on the Atlantic Ocean, and raised her 5 amazing humans in this beautiful state. Carolyn and her partner, Mike, enjoy spending time with their 3 rescue dogs, boating on Lake Champlain and diving all over the Caribbean!
Erin joined Exterus in the spring of 2013 and has 20+ years of experience in the contract furniture industry. She has worked on the dealer side in Design & Project Management roles, as well as the client side in a Facilities position. Erin is NCIDQ certified and understands that every project, no matter the size, requires the same amount of detail and coordination. Erin lives in New Hampshire and enjoys being a mom to her two adventurous and busy boys.

She is NCIDQ certified, and brings a certain enthusiasm and passion for design to her work. Sarah is responsible for collaborating with the team, clients, architects & designer to develop all the visual tools and resources needed to support the project design intent and carrying the details through completion with product installation drawings. Sarah and her husband live in NH with their 2 young boys. She enjoys spending time outdoors, loves lake life, and considers herself a foodie as she loves to experiment with cooking
Kim lives in New Hampshire, enjoys kayaking, motorcycle rides, spending time with family and friends. She joined us in January as our director of Design. She has over 30 years’ experience in the Commercial and Healthcare design industry. She has always had a passion for design, each time feels special because every project is as unique as the person behind it. Her goal is to help harness what gives your business a comprehensive edge, that communicates your value to your employees and clients.
Chloe has over 10 years of industry experience in commercial and residential interior design. She is also very involved in IIDA New England and is working towards obtaining her NCIDQ Certification. At Exterus, Chloe enjoys collaborating with other team members, clients, architects, and designers, as well as using her own expertise, to bring a project from dream to reality! Chloe and her husband live in VT with their two cats and two dogs. They enjoy exploring craft breweries, hiking, and spending time together in the kitchen cooking and baking or on the couch watching a movie.
Contact ChloeAnn lives in upstate NY and enjoys kayaking, farmers markets, and walking trails with her French bulldog Bruno. She holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design from The Sage College of Albany. She has over 20 years’ experience in commercial product selection, specification writing, contract design, retail design and custom furniture design. In the last 16 years, she has worked specifically in the commercial contract furniture industry and has an in-depth understanding and passion for her craft. Ann is extremely creative and strives in every project to create the best solution tailored to each client’s needs.
Fiona joined the Exterus team in the summer of 2024 with a background in contract furniture, project management, and graphic design. Fiona prides herself in developing client presentations, marketing, and assisting the Design and Sales teams in their daily operations. As a Vermont native, Fiona loves hiking local mountains, camping, photography, and upholstery.
Contact FionaSusan joined Exterus in 2015 bringing over 20 years of marketing and finance experience. She manages the daily accounting operations for the company as well as Human Resource functions. Upon graduating from the University of Minnesota, Susan relocated to the east coast where she now lives with her husband and kids.

Donna has over 20 years’ experience as a project coordinator in the contract furniture industry. She brings her love for organization to Exterus by supporting the sales team, scheduling installations and overseeing the Portland showroom and library. Successfully coordinating projects, building relationships and keeping up to date on furniture trends are key aspects of her responsibilities. Donna resides in the Portland area with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends, traveling and gardening.

- Custom construction and assembly in accordance with manufacturers specifications
- Workspace configuration in accordance with design drawings
- Leveling and fastening of all product components
- Cleanup and removal of any and all packaging or debris
- Coordinate and schedule all aspects of installment with the clients point of contact.
- Promptly and efficiently handle any adjustment necessary per manufacturers warranty.
